4. Top 5 directors

Joshuaaaa, why you make me do this? :P

Okay…

1. Alfred Hitchcock

2. Wong Kar Wai

3. Stanley Kubrick

These 3 are who I would genuinely call my favourite directors. There are others I like a lot, but I’m not sure I would give them place no. 4 and 5. :P So, honourable mentions: Jean-Luc Godard, Billy Wilder, Frank Capra, Howard Hawks.

15. Favorite Disney movie (not PIXAR!)

I haven’t really seen many Disney films…but, from what I have seen, it would have to be Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

29. A movie from your favorite director you didn’t liked

No doubt about this, “To Catch a Thief”. (was so tempted to call it “To Catch a Fuckin Thief”, due to my annoyance with it)

That was the first Hitchcock I ever saw. And, now, after seeing 25 Hitchcocks, To Catch a Thief is still the only one I do not like.

I might give it a second chance sometime, when I’m in the mood for some pretty but meaningless imagery, uninteresting story and total lack of chemistry between two of the most beautiful film stars ever.

36. Favorite remake

Hard one. If I had a list of all the remakes I’ve ever watched, it would be easier…also, must I have watched both the original and the remake…? If that’s the case, I don’t know if there are any at all.

Well…I love An Affair to Remember (1957), which is a remake of the 1939 Love Affair (which I’ve never seen).

Also, I love Mogambo (1953) which is a version of the 1932 Red Dust. (which I’ve never seen)

That’s just off the top of my head. There must be others which escape me at the moment.
